Orbita shows in TOC Europe 2018 in Rotterdam why we are The Terminal Automation Company
We apply Automation in an efficient and intelligent way. This is why we are The Terminal Automation Company. We approach turnkey projects focusing on the clients’ needs and building a robust solution including hardware, software and professional services.
This was our message during the TOC Europe event last week, in which we were happy to see our clients, partners, colleagues and friends in the sector.
It is always great to share several experiences from different perspectives. We enjoyed very deep conversations regarding how the ports and terminals industry is evolving.
In fact, standardization seemed to be the buzzword for this edition. During TOC Conferences, PEMA and FEPORT stablished a basis to develop the “Terminal Industry Committee 4.0”, that will help automation in terms of faster developments and a more open environment to implement integration solutions. What did you value most when you visited us at the stand?
Potential clients in our stand were very interested in our Gate DMG 3D product to automatically detect damages at Gates. Terminals from all sizes can benefit from real time damage detection. For instance, to make inmediate decisions regarding the entry authorization of a damaged container. But mostly as a proof for further claims.
Increasingly, Terminals are including a complete Crane Automation and Gate Automation, together with RTG or RMG Automation, as the key to track and trace containers, drivers and vehicles through different areas.
